StickWars 3 is the latest in a series of defense games for the iPhone, and probably one of the most fun. It’s very simply played, but it can get very very difficult. All you do is swipe to kill the enemies – throw them in the air, smash them down, or slam them into the ground. As you go further and further into the game you face a more and more difficult batch of enemies, ranging from giant hammer machines to cannons, giant stick fighters, and wizards, as well as flying enemies. Some enemies you can’t even fling, so you have to find ways to kill them other than flinging them. These are the enemies that can make the game really tough. Read on for some tips and tricks for StickWars 3 .
Use your necromancer’s spells wisely. It takes awhile to charge them, so hold onto them until a large enemy comes onto the screen, or even better, multiple large machines. If multiple large machines are on screen, wait until you can line up a shot through them, even if it takes a bit longer to fire at them. Also, whenever a flamer enters the screen, pick him up and wait for a machine to come, then slam him down near the machine to kill the machine easily.
When you have a huge pile of enemies coming at you, sometimes instead of flinging, an easier way to kill them is to take one enemy, hold onto him, and slam him repeatedly onto the other enemies over and over. You can kill quite a few sticks this way before you finally are forced to let go of him. This works best if you are slamming an axe warrior down on other enemies, because he takes longer to kill than other enemies. This technique also works for wizard-killing, if the wizard is on the same elevation as the other stick at the time. You can destroy big sticks and other machines this way but it takes a lot of time.
Don’t go into a battle later in the game without your army of archers behind you. Upgrade them as much as possible so that they can shoot much more quickly, and so that you can have at least ten snipers at a time. This is your most important upgrade later in the game.
